Printers and politics meet at CEO Forum

Sydney printers will get a glimpse behind the state’s current health reform drama when the NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Health, Carmel Tebbutt, meets them later this month at the Printing Industries CEO Forum.

Printing Industries CEO Philip Andersen said that while there would be many industry specific matters members wanted to make the NSW Government aware of, Tebbutt’s insight into the current health reform debate with the Federal Government and the opportunity for members to make their own views known to the Deputy Premier would be invaluable.

“We have also asked the Deputy Premier (pictured) for comment on the government’s print procurement policy intentions and on a number of other issues directly affecting the performance and profitability of our industry,” he said.

“Our state faces an election in 12 months time and it vitally important we take this opportunity to provide input to the NSW Government through the Deputy Premier.

“We will be creating a similar opportunity with the NSW Opposition later this year.”

The CEO forum will be held on Wednesday 31 March 2010 from 12.30pm-2pm at the Le Montage Bayside Events Centre, Marquee Dining Room, 38 Frazer Street, Leichhardt (overlooking the water’s edge of Iron Cove Bay).

Bookings should be made to Irene Manacos at Printing Industries on (02) 8789 7382 e-mail: irene@printnet.com.au or by completing the registration form available here.
